Inventory

Truck assignments and job estimates are typically based on the size of the job, which is determined by the Inventory that needs to be moved. MoverBase provides a powerful Inventory Estimate calculator to help you quickly determine the size of a job in cubic feet so you can plan for the job and give an accurate estimate to your customers.

In addition, MoverBase comes with a complete sample list of inventory items arranged by room. This sample list is very thorough and lets you get started creating Jobs quickly. You can easily add to, delete or edit items in this list in the Company Setup section. Inventory is arranged by room to help you locate them easily.

Inventory

  1. Select Inventory in the Company Setup menu
  2. Select the room
  3. Select the Item you wish to change or Select Add Item
  4. Edit or enter the name and size
  5. Select Add or Update Item, or Delete Item to remove it from the list

Inventory Estimates allow you to track the total cubic square feet of a move.  Knowing the total cubic square feet of a move can help you select the right truck, the number of movers you will need to assign and estimate the duration of the job.

There are two areas you can create an inventory estimate in MoverBase:

  • Job Create or Job Edit view
  • In the Company section under Inventory Estimate
